The mission of the Daily Recovery Zone is to build a strong recovery community. We strive to empower individuals to attain sustainable long term sobriety through recovery support services, education, and community engagement. The goal is to fill voids caused by addiction by providing a safe and stable environment to explore recovery.
The Daily Recovery Zone attained charitable status in 2019 and also received the Guide Star bronze status for transparency and openness.
Our charitable status number is EIN: 84-2855195
This allows some people to give in a tax-advantaged way.
The Daily Recovery Zone was founded by Jewel Dailey in May 2019. Since overcoming addiction herself, Jewel has worked tirelessly over the past 11 years to help others on their road to recovery. During this time, she saw the desperate need for a safe space where people in recovery could turn to for support and encouragement. The Zone is a place where people can form relationships, find resources, encourage one another, and move forward in their next steps. After the recent, tragic passing of her friend, Tori, Jewel knew that now was the time for this space. It is her hope that our community will gather together to support this important work.
We believe that community creates accountability and relationships in which recovering addicts need to stay on the road to recovery.
Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help the people providing services with the people who need them. Come and connect with people in new ways.
We host groups and programs such as AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) meetings, NA (Narcotics Anonymous) meetings, Smart Recovery, Peer Run Support Groups, Community Service Program, and 1:1 Mentorship.
Our organization is
rooted on the bases of
community. We have
work nights throughout
the week.
We help with
employment
possibilities and
resume formatting.
We advise those in recovery to attend the Dollars & Sense course through United Christian Services and United Way.
